Waiting for a fight « Thread Started on Jan 19, 2006, 12:54pm »
When Akasha woke, she instantly began to set off on her journey again. It was not far, and she could breakfast at the arena. She exercised a little, and then flew up to the sky. It felt good to be on her wings today. Most of her journey had been walking or running, to save her energy, for flying was exhausting - And more dangerous if she accidentally fell asleep. After using magic she knew not of for the first time, she was out to find a sorcerer or mage which could help her learn the magic arts, so she could combine her advantage of being part dragon, her skill with the blade, and the spark of magic from the elvin part of her. She was going to try and become a spell blade. However, her trail of daydreams and thoughts, and the quiet of the forest was soon interrupted by a loud cheer from the forest arena. If anywhere was good to find powerful magicians, it was there. But first, she would see if she could challenge somebody. Why not? she thought, and checked in at the reception. She looked around, and saw a large amount of wild boar, surrounded by a fence. Three mages were sitting down, every once in a while lazily conjuring another wild boar if somebody killed one. The mage on the right had fallen asleep. The moment she opened the gate, a wild boar attacked her. She unsheathed her katana, and slashed at the wild boar. However, the animal, despite being rather stupid, dodged. She sliced at it, and managed to chop off one of its legs. She attacked it once more, and this time chopped it right in half. It collapsed, dead. A nobleman nearby was mercilessly killing boar after boar in one chop each. She gently breathed fire on the boar, and then took out a pocketknife and ate some of the meat. Freshly killed and cooked boar was nicer than most meals. She then turned to sit on a bench, folded her wings, closed the enclosure's door, and waited for her first opponent.
